How to forward all e-mails to two e-mail addresses from Gmail.

Gmail e-mail forwarding is a best option to keep backup of all important conversations. But it allows only one e-mail address one time to follow mails to. What if you want to forward emails to two email addresses?

Here are few steps to follow.

First create an e-mail forwarding for all mail to one e-mail address

• Sign in to your Gmail account and go to "Settings" from the top of Gmail page.
• Now go to "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
• In the forwarding menu enter the email address to which you'd like your messages forwarded.
• From the drop down menu choose to keep Gmail's copy of the message in your inbox, or you can automatically Archive it by sending it to All Mail. (I will prefer you not to automatically send mails to Trash)
• Now click Save Changes.

Now as you want to set another e-mail address for all your incoming mail to be forwarded at. Follow the steps below.

• Click on "Create Filter" link next to the Search the Web button at the top Gmail.
• In the field of "To" enter your Gmail e-mail address and click next.
• In the actions select “Forward to” and enter the “second e-mail address” in text box where you want your e-mails to be forwarded.
• Click "Create Filter".

Now all mails which will be coming to your e-mail address will be automatically forwarded to both accounts.

Note: There is a drawback of this method. The mails which are not sent to you but to a mailing list or a Blank Corbin Copy (BCC) for you will not be forwarded to second e-mail address. However ALL MAIL will be forwarded to first account by default auto forwarding.

I hope this will help you in managing you mail.

How to use your VA for your e-mail management.

Outsourcing your inbox management can add a spice in your life. It will help you to work on more important things other then just getting lost in a long list of mails in your inbox and missing few important ones.

Here is a process for delegating e-mail management from you to your Virtual Assistant.
I would suggest you to use labels/folders to manage your inbox. Following is a process for e-mail management using google mail and apps but you can modify them according to your needs.

You can either give your VA access to your inbox or start forwarding your e-mail to him and following will be the line of action for your VA.

• Process all Social network groups/friends/family add or join request. (i.e. you are having a LinkedIn group you can ask your VA to process all join group requests)
• Process all website support requests (if you are having a VA for your website management).
• Process all schedule or reschedule requests according to the calendar and notify clients/colleagues.
• Label all processed mail as archive
• Label all newsletters and sales letters accordingly and archive.
• Delete all spam mails.
• For all messages that require an action from me, star the message and archive it, then enter an appropriate task in my (toddle do/remember the milk/google) to do list.
• Give me a brief summary of all mail specially the important ones which I have to take action first.

I hope this will help you and your VA to manage your InBox.

P.S. I learnt this delegating of e-mail management by working with Josh Kaufman.

A Message from Rohal on my IM Status... :D

Dear Miss Samina,

These knid of words should not be used, not at all, not even in the worse of the circumstances that one could possibly think of getting into or could ever get stuck within. And specially if you are surrounded by some of the best guys in town, got together for mutual reason of high selflessness and dedication; and a strive and passion of always getting things done for others. When you are happy they are more than happy for you, when your mood is not in a good shape they always stood around you and make sure to deliver a day brighter than ever, lit with the sparkles of hope and filled with joy of not being alone in this wild race of surviving some time called a life. These kind of sentences only spread unwanted, unnecessary and unwilling energies of somewhat real hatred and will only prove to push you away from being a lively creature in this pathetic world for those who try be ones, but if feel the waves of life around you, making sure you have all the people important for one reason or the other for you at any part of your life, this world is our mother Earth and it can never be harsh to her children nor can the Allmighty Creator be cruel to us, you or any of his creations.
So, never say "I hate you all."
Instead you can say "Kick your ass, u dumb people"

I hope the above information proves useful.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please write to me.

Yo! Wassup? Its Zaki here!!!

Yo! Wassup?

These are the first words I heard from Zaki when I called him after few days of my Joining TimeSvr. I was expecting a big boss with so many attitudes and rudeness and I was actually scared of him that I hanged up the phone within 1 minute. My seniors used to tell me that he is a very cool person to work with but I was not trying to approach him directly. So whenever I felt that there is something I should let him know and involve in I used to convey it through Osama.

But last month when he visited Pakistan I came to know.. Oh he is really not that scary.
It’s just that he speaks a little fast, sometimes it goes way over your head
Its just that he seems a little fat, actually he is trying to look like a REAL BOSS .
It’s just that he looks at you and you feel like you are already fired out.
It’s just that he always tells you, “things are ok when I say they are ok"
And it’s just that he frightens you the moment you see him until he speaks to you with that sweet and super-fast voice of his.

Apart from all this he is a person who started his first company when he was just 14. And in the age of 21 who is a CEO of an international company... A great Success and hard work. He is amazing when it comes to proficiency, ideas and work and he inspires many people around. Very good in client dealing and tries to keep everyone happy.

Yo!!!!! Zaki Rocks
And Zaki! Don’t try… You can’t break my record.. So stop gaining weight.. :P

One Seeks What he don't have

A prayer in the End Of a Book.

Oh Allah! Give me food to eat
Give me cloths to wear
Give me home to live
Give me a respectful and content life

The Saint:
Man what are you praying for?
Ask for something else to Allah

Insha:
Oh father! what do you ask for?

Saint:
I don't ask whatever you are asking for
I just pary, "Oh ALlah! Give me faith.
Give me streangth to do good deeds"

Insha:
Father you ask for right things
One asks for what
He don't have......

B for Barkat!

If you ever visit TimeSvr and find someone sitting in a corner having a cigret in his hand, and a glass of cold drink near him. At first glance you will feel this man is very silent but within five minutes you find him the first one to comment on anything. It means you are seeing Barkat The Great. :D

You will mostly find him in his very casual favourite old jeans and a bag which is with him from last seven years and we call it "Umru Ayaar ki Zanbeel" (a megical bag of a fairy tail where Umru use to save EVERYTHING and pick them out when needed). however once in two or three weeks he changes the flavour and wears some formal dresses get his beard shaved. Those are the days I can bet many of his class fellows at University fall for him. (He is completing his MBA while he is just 20... Evil Genius)

He is eversmiling, eveready and always available for anything to do that mostly Osama have to tell him that he have to go back home. Always gready to learn something new whenever and however he get a chance. A very good administrator and will be very successfull in his future. Always having great business ideas and pleasent mood.

And yes if cigerets and food is available he can work nonstop for 4 days without sleeping. At 5th day he will need a 30 minutes nap.

I guess its enough for now. Barkat.. Wish you all the best. :)

Writer's Readings...

While going through a discussion a person told me he is a writer and he don’t read other writings because he thinks he is a genuine writer and while reading others his writings may get influenced by their thoughts and it effect his genuine writing skills.
It is a common misconception. We have observed many writers stop reading when they start getting praised by others. A genius will defiantly won’t do it.
In my opinion..
Everyone have thoughts and expressions in him and writing them is a way of expressing yourself.
Now the question is… why you express yourself? It is to let others know what you think about things… How are they effecting you.. What is your opinion about your circumstances and all.
One would defiantly need a medium to express himself.. Which is language…
Obviously you won’t create your own language so you would need words from language..
And for learning a language you need to read and read WORDS..
This was one basic thing why a writer needs reading.

I would love to see what are your opinions about this statement??????

Here you can find same discussion on Yahoo Answers.

Meet Nabeel

When I think about TimeSvr then along with few other people Nabeel comes on top of the list.

I remember my early days at work I saw a guy who seems to be loving the way he sits on a chair although calling that sitting on a chair is worst then calling a butterfly dangerous. Looking at him made me imagine as if this person just came out of a Washing Machine and seriously requires heavy ironing. (He is still the same)

He is a fun working with. Letting you know all your flaws flawlessly and cool minded.. Always helping and caring about you and keeping an update about all of you and your tasks.

If you find someone in TimeSvr most active in INTERNAL AFFAIRS don't Doubt.. Its NABEEL :D (I will ask Nabeel to define Internal Affairs soon)

When it comes about work.. He is the best in getting the best results from whatever he is doing.

Nabeel.. You Rock!!

Lost BagA Bag - Lost

I had a bag
It's not exactly black but a bit dark
Like dusk.
Just after the sun sets and
When birds fly to their nests,
That's the darkness, the color of my bag.

I kept this bad in a corner of my house
There is a window too in that corner.
Usually I watch stars from that window
Looks like couple of tear drops on a dark drawing paper
Where glows your face.

I have not seen the bag for quite sometime now.
Not able to find too.
Searched a lot,
Not able to find it...

I am thinking of lodging an FIR today.
The cops might ask,
What was there in the bag?
How will I say, there was just one shirt,
I used to call it 'Dreams'.
